Hummingbird Moths

These moths look a bit like a hummingbird. They have a long tongue instead of a beak. They will eggs underneath the leaf. Their caterpillar is green with a yellow horn at the back end.

Slugs and Snails

Some of the most troublesome pests for your plants are snails and slugs. Around 725 species of land snails and about 40 species of slugs call North America home. A good portion of these are not native to the United States.

Carpenter ants are a pervasive nuisance, causing structural damage to homes and other wooden objects. A friend of moisture, these ants enjoy old or decaying wooden environments.

Crazy Ants

Crazy Ants get their name from the erratic behavior they exhibit while moving. There are never just a few of these obnoxious pests scampering around. This is due to the colony having multiple queens.
